What would a Sprocket Rocket Jr. look like? I have advanced this idea several times before and I wanted to see what images would look like from such a machine. So, I taped off the inside of the SRocket to make a mask that would be proportionally the same size as a standard 4x6 print. Then I figured out how many turns it would take to give me a reasonable spacing between images and shot this test roll.........now, why would LSI want to make such a camera? The answer is so obvious that it has been driving me crazy for two years now. This isn't Sprocket Rocket Science, it's just common sense! Look, using the same lens and shutter assembly you would eliminate most of the distortion that we currently get on SR images, yet you still get a nice wide angle image. More importantly, the resulting image is sized correctly so that you could easily order prints from any source, without having to crop your images. And you would have a slightly narrower and more compact camera which makes it more jacket pocket friendly. And of course, this new MINI SPROCKET ROCKET would have STRAP LUGS, because only an idiot designs a camera without them. Strap lugs, get it LSI? Your cameras need strap lugs so that klutzes like me can have a wrist strap or neck strap on the camera which keeps us from dropping them and also doubles as ANALOGUE CAMERA JEWELRY. Because we do want to show the world that we are film buffs, right? OK, soap box rant off. ;)
