spinner 360° was on tripod (1m height), but a bit uphill.
If I take this photo again, I'll do it at ground level so that the picture and the spinner are at the same height.

I'm a big fan of the artists and works of "degenerate art" ("Entartete Kunst") that were murdered, effected or burned 90 or 100 years ago... @steamtug1959

@klawe @gheinz photos and comments are history. lomography i see as a form of art. deleting art as if it never existed is sad ...

@steamtug1959 I suspect that the Lomographers deleted their accounts themselves. It's a pity, but this has nothing to do with deleted comments.

@klawe deleting old accounts also means losing beautiful photos that made history at the time.

@gheinz if a user is deleted due to inactivity, everything, including comments and comments he has made, will probably be deleted

I don't think likes will be disabled. I believe that
users that have been inactive for a long time can be deleted to make room for new photos on the server

@gheinz & @steamtug1959 Then as the first deletion given comments should be abolished!

@gheinz @klawe i think Likes are useful for seeing what type of photo appeals to a wider range of people. but when someone says, "I like that," that's a compliment. a given compliment cannot die (..!)

I don't care about likes for me. But it's the principle that I dispute, especially since it's a stupid job to uncheck likes for hours for someone who would have more to do for Lomo.

Since the disappearance of comments, messages and "likes" has been around for years, I don't get annoyed anymore.
    Lomo is more than likes.

These hours of unchecking likes brings absolutely no added value to the community. In short, I am angry at these actions, and I frankly wonder if I will stay much longer in the community.

I find this approach unfair and completely ridiculous. Plus, at the rate the likes are being removed, I imagine someone has to remove them by hand, which must be tedious.

  27. gheinz
    gheinz · · Reply

The likes obtained were legitimate at a given time, and corresponded to recognition of the work done. We are punished while we are not responsible for the departure of other members of the community.

I guess it's because a lomographer left the community and his account was closed. But why is it up to loyal and committed lomographers to pay the price for the departure of lomographers?

I just sent a message to the customer service :
    Hello,
Once again, I am flabbergasted to discover that you can lose almost 5,000 likes in just one day.
