Petzval Lomographer of the Week: raywychin
4 8 Share TweetThis week’s featured Petzval Lomographer has the cure for your Halloween hangover.
Halloween is always rife with photo opportunities. People dressed up as ghouls, monsters, and other characters flood the street to go trick-or-treating. Public places shed their welcoming facade for frightening displays. This well-celebrated occasion only lasts a day, so everyone put forth an effort to make it a memorable one.
Hong Kong-based lomographer raywychin and his adorable dog didn’t let this year’s Halloween pass by without putting on a convincing disguise. This easy ensemble of black cape, pointy hat, and plump pumpkins deserves a basket full of sweets (or dog treats!). The lovely bokeh courtesy of the New Petzval 85 lens suggests power, as if this charming witch apprentice is capable of magically transforming its surroundings into a hypnotic swirl of colors.
He took these photographs with the New Petzval 85 mounted on a Nikon F100 camera and a roll of Fuji Pro 160S.
From everyone here in Lomography, congratulations to raywychin for being our Petzval Lomographer of the Week!
