Due to its large Chinese merchant population during the Spanish colonial period, the town of Molo was formerly called Parian (Chinatown). Later the Spaniards changed it to Moro because of the frequent attacks of Muslim pirates from Mindanao. The term later evolved into its present name Molo. In 1937, the town was absorbed by Iloilo City by virtue of its charter. At the heart of the charming area of this Ilonggo metropolis is the church of St. Anne which if famously called Molo Church. Took a few outdoor shots of the church facade and the plaza in front of it. Textured my shots with creative images of window displays.
