We spent our summer holidays in June on a farm in the bavarian alps. My three year old son loved to play in this stream. I was fascinated by this ford - which the farmer still used to make his cows cross the river - and its symbolic meaning. To get these photos in the moonshine I had to hold out really cold feet.
