Providence Athenaeum drinking fountain.
Providence Athenaeum is one of the oldest membership libraries in America. It was a frequent haunt of both Edgar Allan Poe and local son H.P. Lovecraft. This fountain preceeds them both, and it is not unlikely that they both may have taken a sip here.
