Enduring centuries of history since 1575, the bassilica is considered the largest Catholic church in Asia. The exterior view is awe-inspiring. I didn't get the chance to see the interior of the church as there was a funeral mass being held at that time. Perhaps that's one reason to revisit Taal sometime soon.
