I'm starting developing film at home. My first attempts were less than successful but it's OK, it's a learning curve. I had this Kodak Ultramax 400 waiting to be taken to a photo lab when I asked myself what would happen if I developed it using BW chemicals and the results weren't as bad as I thought they might be.     @sandersoftheriver I was just experimenting, but the subtraction of color gave a new layer to the whole film roll.
