First time hiking in Switzerland with my new Chamonix large format camera. Several liters of sweat later I ended up with this shot of Säntis, a beautiful mountain an hour from my home.
A serene and calm walk around the Etang de la Gruere in Jura, Switzerland. A beautiful part of Western Switzerland, reminds me of Yellowstone National Park, calm, clean, fresh and overall peaceful.
One of my lucky failures. Two pictures I both wanted, now they are both there in a hybrid. A sun-trail of a tree in Rapperswil (was supposed to be shot on Ilford Delta) and a star trail experiment that likely would have been exposed correctly if not for the double exposure. But I love what Velvia did with the color of the sky and the crazy vignette of the Yamasaki Congo lens.

Since i will be moving to Paris for university at the end of the summer, I wanted to shoot whether i see or visit in Istanbul. Some photos are just some random shots that I took. They are from streets that I walk, colorful neighbourhoods that I pass by every single day or some of the most famous and historical sides of Istanbul. Here we have lovely people, amazing street foods, helpful locals, incredible history and great architecture. Contrary to the media, we are all safe and sound in Istanbul. I wanted to show you how beautiful Istanbul is and how I'm gonna miss this place that I call home. There are some mix films such as ; expired, redscale and a regular c200.
The tulip is one of Istanbul's traditional symbols. Brought to the city from Iran centuries ago, it was favored and cultivated here until tulip-love became a mania. Tulips made their way from Istanbul to Europe—specifically Holland—where a similar tulip mania soon consumed the imaginations—and bank accounts—of Dutch tulip-lovers.
Large format light leaks, love or hate? Probably me handling the dark-slides in my 60 year old Super16mm dark bag, not so much a problem with the camera or the slides.
Finally, a triple exposure that came out the way I planned it. Very happy about this one. It is a painting of my late uncle Rene Fendt and the beautiful Duyan overlooking lake Zurich on a calm morning (POTD China September 2nd 2017)
I think I'm getting somewhere, this is my favorite sun trail so far. Framing works, looks really abstract with the diagonale, this would make a nice large print in my opinion. It's just down the road in Richterswil, amazing though how the element of time makes the familiar place feel so special. More sun trails coming up soon, let me know what you think!
