A Very Good Day

There is this magazine that my college puts out every spring semester called Creative Licence. People at the school can submit poems, stories, photographs, and some other stuff. I had seen some past issues floating around, and thought I would enter some of my own photos. Just thinking it would be cool to get at least one of my pictures into the magazine. Today I learned that the picture below won first place in the photography category, and will be in the magazine later this semester.

Also, as icing on the cake, learned that there is a $50 cash prize,and something about a banquet at the botanical gardens. I don’t know if any more of my photos made it into the magazine, but this made my day!
