Good Times Were Had Here
Balay ni Juan was a family-run restaurant / bar in Pasig City, Philippines. It was one of my most favorite spots in the city. Me, my friends and colleagues used to go here almost every night to loosen up, share good food, have some drinks, catch up and share stories. Balay is a Visayan word (one of the many dialects in the Philippines), meaning house or home. Juan is the national personification of the Philippines. A few years ago, the place was sold and the owners decided to move (though still in the same area) and renamed the place Juanito's. These photos are part of my first ever rolls of films.
