My friend and her new dancing shoe about which she was very happy.
These are some old slides that I recently had scanned. I took most of these shots in the mid 1990s. When I took this photo I had intended to capture the intense purple of my friend's new shoes but when I received the slides back from the lab in 1996 it had turned out pink. In the JPEG file of the scanned slide it turned out red, and the silver-coloured ankle bracelet my friend was wearing had become gold. I have used Apple iPreview and iPhoto extensively to attempt to bring the shoe back to its original purple. Unfortunately I have lost some clarity of the slide and I have accidentally given the whole picture a purple tint. On the other hand, I think it looks better than the pink shoe in the slide or the red shoe of the raw JPEG file.
