At the end of May, something very unpleasant happened to me. All spring, I had been preparing for a meditation course that several friends had recommended to me. I had long been interested in trying something like a retreat, and I took it as a sign.
Since the beginning of March, I had not been drinking alcohol, had been selective in my diet, and had established a sleep routine. Overall, I took a serious approach to improving my mental health, but life, as it happens, threw me a curveball that I didn’t expect.
I don’t want to describe my entire experience here, as it is documented in detail, and there are too many characters for a post, so let’s get to the point... On the third day, some scumbag added acid to my food, after which I interrupted the practice without getting any adequate response from the management. End of story.
I took thirteen photos an hour before the practice began, and one of them shows the spiker. I conducted my own investigation and tracked him down, but that’s another story...
So be careful when choosing such events — they can create fertile ground for scumbags.
