I do love to try new things when taking photos as I want to see what does what! So, tonight after finishing developing two rolls of color film, I thought, "What if?"...

I knew that the Blix stage would nuke the shots, so I decided to just process the film in the C-41's developer, then fix them in TF-4 instead.

These photos were the result.

I just made a quick roll of Arista EDU Ultra 100 from bulk with 10 or 2 frames, then took photos that represented an assortment of detail, contrast, colors, dark areas, light areas etc. And proceded to deevlop it all crazy like.

I was very honestly surprised that it looks no different then if it was done in Diafine or D-76 from what I can tell.

The only major difference was that the emulsion was very soft afterwards and very easily, even after drying for quite a while, was dented by even just touching it. Some hairs and lint stuck to it as well during this process.

So now I know. C-41 developer will develop B/W film.

And no, this was not Chromogenic film, it was standard B/W.

(Developer used was from a Tetanol/Unicolor C-41 kit. The developer has been used to develop around 20 rolls of film and I am currently at 4-4.5 minutes time in it for each roll. FYI)
