All shot on film in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is one of the cities with biggest population suffering from mental illnesses. We aren't allowed to show traits of emotions in public, especially the negative ones, like depression. To me, suppression is the biggest cause to mental illness. Burning the film is an act to free the spirits of the people in the photography, let them show their within beauty.
