Ever since the first brave one dipped into a hotspring back in 1964, these wild monkeys have been coming down from the mountains to bathe every single day :)

    Its not possible to take a bad shot of a Snow Monkey but these are amazing shots and what an opportunity have you submitted them to a nature mag??

    @koduckgirl Thanks dear! I wonder that too, cos funny enough, not many Japanese know these special animals are there. 90% of their visitors were from overseas!

    Same with kodickgirl I saw this snow monkey footage for the first time at the legendary documentary Baraka. But actually they are quite overexposure too by Japan media such as the deceased Waku Waku Japan channel, NHK and Gem tv on the same year this photo was uploaded. So maybe it was just coincident there was none Japanese tourist visit this place at that time
