The story of an old camera, a postcard and our cat

It is the story of a day when our cat was ready to have a portrait taken, where the sky was very gray, where I wanted a nod to the country dear to my heart, Burkina Faso, and where I took a picture of the #Cord47 camera, with which I had an interesting experiment a few days earlier. And I finished this film in the evening, just before taking the aperitif! A new album made with the fantastic #Kowa SIX camera, given by my brother last Christmas.

Africa's Che Guevara - I almost forgot him; but he was one of the great African leaders trying justice and equality - also in the relation to the "powerful west". David and Goliath so to say - unfortunately in "our current" reality Goliath wins.

@rolfmg He is one of the heroes of my adolescence. He was murdered when I was 16, so I made a promise to myself that I would someday go to Burkina Faso. What I did then many times, since I made 21 trips to Burkina Faso between 2001 and 2019.
Thomas Sankara was the subject of a remarkable film, released in 2014 (the postcard is also the poster of the film): www.capitainethomassankara.net/index.html
