   My first SLR was an Olympus OM-1, still use it occasionally, just the meter doesn't work.

   @brine Hi ! I've got two of them. One has a defective meter also (black) but the other (chrome) meter works just fine and believe it or not but it still has its mercury battery !
   Anyway I almost never turn it on because I use empirical settings like sunny16 or a separate Leningrad selenium meter.

   @zenudebiker I use either the Sunny 16 or a light meter when I use mine ... still feels "right" when I use it!!
