Royal Light (Cameroon #16)

This Album is quite the mix. Last year I filmed a portrait about Princess Marilyn Douala Manga Bell, who won the Goethe Medal for her achievements in the international cultural exchange. See the link below. Marilyn came also to an exhibition about her great grand dad Rudolf Manga Bell in Hamburg. I filmed some more and made some portraits. Actually on film underexposed, because I thought the xpro will add more light to it and I did it handheld inside, so I was worried it will be too shaky. Anyways, I then got the request of a newspaper for publishing my shots. It was Frau im Spiegel Royal, which is a yeelow press foccused on royality. I was quite surprised and liked the idea, that topics such as cultural exchange and colonialism are (at least) briefly mentioned in such a publication and agreed.
