    @fotomacher, no, I did not have to tape up my Lubitel for IR film, although I always tape the latch up as it falls open frequently. Since mine is already set up with a cover for the frame viewing window (for shooting 35mm) I didn't have to tape that either. I would only tape if I were finding light leaks with normal film.
