Wings Over the Rockies -- Horizon Monochrome

I can't believe it's taken us so long to come back to this great museum -- the planes are amazing, and you can walk right up to them. They even have a B1 bomber!

    very stupid question - is that a model from star wars? or an actual plane??

    @cc-in-paris -- not a stupid question at all! It's a very large model of an X-Wing from Star Wars. :D You can even see the R2D2 model behind the cockpit. I have no idea how this made it into a museum full of real planes, but I thought it was cool . . .

    oooh!! R2D2!!!! I missed him the first time, of course! R2D2 was my favorite as a kid! how could I have missed him!?!?! pretty funny that this made it into a museum :D

    Thanks, all!! @rjarmand -- it's called Wings Over the Rockies, basically it's a big hangar full of retired and experimental planes . . . lots of fun!
