Ouistream released by Philippe Kieffer's commando in 1944. Philippe Kieffer landed in Normandy on June 6 at the head of his men of the 1st battalion of marines commandos (total of 177 men). They land on Sword Beach in Colleville-Montgomery, despite significant losses, they grab a piece of 50 mm, and the former Ouistream-Riva-Bella -Casino before sinking in the land Colleville and Saint-Aubin-d'Arquenay to junction at Pegasus Bridge (Bénouville) with the British 6th Airborne DAP.
