Fair Friends

Another batch of pictures from the MN State fair. I used Expired York 200 film for this batch, and if memory serves me correctly, it is actually expired Ferrania. If you can find old York color film online, and the box says, "made in Italy" on the bottom, it is probably Ferrania! I like this film because of the golden hue that it gives everything; I think it looks very nostalgic.

    @jamescat22 It very well could be ferrania. They were a pretty big film producer in Europe before they went out of business. They did a lot of repackaging, just like Agfa. They would often sell their second run film, or film that didn't pass quality checks to other retailers, where it would get packaged under different names.

    @jamescat22 Glad you looked it up - I think it looks great. Unfortunately, ebay sellers seem to have realised this as well, and old Ferrania Solaris is going for like, $45 a pack. I'm not paying that when I know I could find it re-branded as drug store film. ;-) I don't think many cameras have an ASA of 80, but I would probably just guesstimate - it's what I usually do.
