The monument was unveiled in 1985 in honor of the 70th anniversary of the October Revolution on the site at one time, long ago, before 1930, was located since 1914 in the area of the park (until 1914 this place was the market).
The monument architect - G. Makarevich (1920-1999), sculptor - LE Kerbel (1917-2003) and V.A.Fedorov (1926-1992)

Memorial stele with a mosaic portrait of Dzerzhinsky installed on Prospekt Mira, near Novoalekseevskaya street.
Established: 1977 artist S. Ter-Grigoryan, architect VS Andreev.
In Soviet times, the stele was part of the "Hall of Fame advanced workers Dzerzhinsky district," framing it from the left side. Hall of Fame was demolished in the late 90's during the construction of the tunnel to exit Novoalekseevskaya street.
Stele built with funds and with the participation of the Komsomol organization of Dzerzhinsky district.
