Walgreens DIsaster

I must be an idiot...I keep going back there to get my rolls developed but the machine is always broken and then sometimes they ruin my rolls like this one. Very frustrating.

I think your safe calling this a "Happy Accident", they look like some of the coolest Actionsampler shots I've seen my brother!

Well thanks but trust me, this was a total disaster. The color was about the best thing and that was from tape I had on the edges of the lens area. The dust and fibers are from crap in their machine and the negatives were so dim you almost couldn't see the images.

Hehe, there's been so many disappointing rolls lately it's just par for the course I guess. I'd go somewhere else but there's only two places in our area unless I want to drive 45 minutes into Northampton or 45 minutes in the other direction to Brattleboro. So it's either the imbeciles at Walgreens or the miserable and unpleasant older woman at CVS who I don't even dare ask if she'll run slide film through the C-41 for me, she's that forbidding. Or I can take it to Amherst which is also 45 minutes away and leave it at Hunt's Photo which will do a good job but it takes 1-2 weeks to get my film back, even longer for black and white and 120 rolls.

At first I thought these are shots from a modified action sampler. They look kinda cool, but if Walgreen's gonna develop your rolls like this all the time better find another Lab.

This does look really cool. I agree with you though, I wish we could "tell" them which rolls they should "ruin". Sometimes you don't want it to look this way!

I think they wet mop the floor with your film! Makes me ever so thankful to have a pro lab two blocks from my office.
