Well, these are certainly not in the same league as Buckshot's amazing recent innovations. Still, I think this idea has some merit and is worth pursuing more...this is my first down and dirty attempt at EBS. I had been thinking about it for quite some time (@stratski Janus experiments) but always envisioned cutting the lens off a donor Sprocket Rocket and then gluing it onto the back of another SR, with a spacer to get it the proper distance from the film plane. But I suddenly realized yesterday that I could simply tape a second body to the back of the first body and it might work. The viewfinder becomes a guess since you can't really get your eye up to it but it's still slightly usable. So, despite being sick as a dog with a bad cold, I got out of bed to take advantage of the last sunny day this week to take these quick test snaps before the rain starts. After scanning the negatives last night I made some changes to my setup and I think test #2 will work even better.

Love it. Did you have the regular emulsion side set to "sunny" and the redscale side set to "cloudy" to compensate for the extra light needed for redscale? I am looking forward to seeing what Test #2 produces.

@alienmeatsack, @vikkki, @fartstorm, @mafiosa, thanks so much! :) Christeen, yes that is exactly what I did except I also snapped 2 or 3 shots for each redscale side because I knew it wasn't going to be enough light to get it exposed in one shot. But on the next roll I used portra 800 and then set the redscale side to bulb so hopefully it works better.

Ah, I was wondering about that - I knew something had to have been done to get the redscale side to be close to perfectly exposed. Bulb mode sounds like a good idea!

Brilliant! So much better than my feeble attempts at an EBS camera. Maybe I'll do this with my Agfa Isomats (the only camera I have two of).
