Last monday was a wonderful day, because it was my birthday. My favourite gift was the long wanted Yashica electro 35. So why dont feed my favourite birthdaypresent with my favourite film? I LOVE the results. I tried different iso settings and the photos shooted with 64 iso I like the most.

    stellastellar 於 2014-07-02 分享

This was the very first film i've developed from the last weekend where the LomoWochenende took place. We had a great time organizing this weekend and the weekend itself was absolutely awesome. The film i got from @nia_ffm and it was an old Agfa CT Precisa. Its a bit dark but i like it anyway. Thank you, dearest @nia_ffm for beeing the best and easiest rommmate ever (and for giving me such lovely films) ! Also thanks to all the people who made this weekend so lovely and great!

Another film from my summer vacation. Shot with my Spotmatic and the Helios 44.The reason why trash-gordon is so often seen in this film, is, because I wanted to test the helios for its "petzval-effect" which went very well in my opinion.

This film was loaded in my yashica electro while we were in zadar when the camera-batterie got empty. i reloaded the film in bratislava at the end of our journey after i bought a new batterie in belgrade. I love the sea-double exposures. They show the beautiful coffee-store and restaurant in bratislava called "Urban House" and the sea at the coast of zadar while sunset.

    stellastellar 於 2014-12-08 分享

Today I got my LC-A 120 and I am totaly happy with her. (HER!) She is very good to handle, also very handsome and a light-weight! We went together on a little walk through my city and got to know each other. Some pictures are not so sharp due to my not so good metering skills but we'll handle this out. So far I am really happy with her and can't wait to load the next roll of film and go outside!

  • Looking for Jean Vigo

    vicuna 於 2015-04-20 分享

Back in Nice for a Week End, I made again one of my favorite photo walks: following the path of Jean Vigo's masterpiece "A propos de Nice " (1930) to shoot some of the places in the movie: the old city, castle hill, castle hill cemetery and finishing on the famous "Promenade des Anglais". You can have a look at this beautiful short movie here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24Ti_8c6qjI Jean Vigo was strongly inspired by Dziga Vertov's masterpiece "Man with a movie camera" (1929) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24Ti_8c6qjI). One thing about the link between these 2 movies: Jean Vigo's cameraman, Boris Kaufman, was the brother of Dziga Vertov's cameraman/actor, Mikhail Kaufman... Enjoy the movies and the pictures! :)

Quite a peculiar thing this 25 iso 120mm expired APX. I always knew about the fines grain and strong contrast. But if you are lacking a littlebit of light in the faces, they will only displayed as silhouettes - so better do architecture with this phantom film in the future...
