2001 expired paterson phototec 100 pushed to 200, stand developed in rodinal 1+100 60 minutes and shot with my early olympus pen. Shot the whole roll in about an hour around the historic cornish town of redruth. Amazing place to shoot, no end of interesting locations and characterful people. was once prosperous, now very rundown and one of the poorest towns in the county. The film, what can i say? A bargain bulk roll eBay purchase, exceeded my expectations, a lovely almost sepia tone with huge contrast except when pointing the pen at the sun lol..!

    Just imagine: the man who painted the first coat of white paint on that railing. Now imagine what he, as he was painting, was possibly thinking about. Imagine how no matter where his thoughts led him he never could have imagined or known that sometime in the following century a man would be looking at that same railing and taking a photograph of it, and the picture taken will look as though it was not from that future but from the past, perhaps the very same time when the man was there, painting. Now imagine that he did know. ... Quotidia, sir. Beautiful series.
