Train early in the morning sun. Shot from the car. Color by Kodak and Rodinal ;)

#Kodak #2383 color print film ISO 1.6 this is a slice off my first roll and cross-process developed in Rodinal Stand 1:100 for 60 minutes. Hand held at ISO 1.6 -really just to check the exposure. Rodinal is a weak color developer and often gifts us with blues and greens which I took a little advantage of. This is my first go with this film and it is impressive. Never meant to be in a camera or capture natural light, but the images are beautiful. Shot with 85B filter. There is no mask on the film base and no remjet. The negative is clear with a thin but dense emulsion. The film is very tough, like a slide film which makes sense since it is designed to be projected many times.

Good old rodinal, especially stand, does everything really well. Some photographers can get a little snobby about it, like yeah its a good shot but if you'd used d76 yawn... I think its because its too easy. Nice shot too, a bit of movement and I like the hazy background and cloud formations. The film sounds similar to kodak 2238 which although black and white has the same feeling of indestructability and lack of grain.

@charliedontsurf people are dumb if they don't have rodinal around. It does its job well and doesn't need any parental supervision. Sometimes you just want the film developed and it's nice to know if there is an image rodinal will find it if you just leave jut alone. Lol
