Lomopedia: Ilford XP2 Super 400 Black & White 35 mm Film
7 16 Share TweetThe Ilford XP2 Super is a sharp, fast, fine grain black and white film. It can be used for any photographic subject but ensures excellent results when there is a wide subject brightness range. It's an outstanding choice for action photography (since it can be pushed/pulled) and low-budget film processing (accepted at most one-hour labs)!
The film yields high contrast negatives and has an extremely wide exposure latitude making it suitable for use in varied lighting conditions. Ilford XP2 Super 400 is easy to process. Unlike most B&W films which use traditional processing, XP2 is developed in C41 chemicals alongside color negative films, making it a convenient monochromatic choice.
