    I think that chromogenic film can't damage the E6 chemistry. Same, as for E6 slides, reducer is reacting with silver halides and dye precursor (black dye in this case) leaving behind only halides anions.I usually prepare first and second developer once "ad hoc", so contamination is not the problem. However I totally messed up something when i was preparing first developer. Actually, it just caused a strange effect visible in the pictures
